Hear from our team

Tricia
“I have worked for Clanrye Group since 2015 and absolutely love it here! For me, this is home!”

Clanrye Group is a wonderful community organisation to work for, where management spot potential in and invest in their employees; offer new opportunities and support staff to succeed. The Training for Success/Skills for Life & Work Programme I work on is a hive of activity and I feel so fortunate to work with an amazing group of talented and inspirational individuals who always pull together to ensure the needs of our students are met on a daily basis. I feel truly blessed to work on a programme that has such a significant, positive impact on students.

It is such a privilege to be a part of our young people’s lives for what may be a short time, but our team all work hard to make a massive difference to their life journeys. It is our belief in our students and their abilities and the unconditional positive regard we have for them, that encourages them to learn, to develop new skills, to reach their full potential and to develop self confidence in themselves and in their futures! Slieve Gullion Courtyard is a special sanctuary for our students where we encourage them to make lasting memories, that we hope stay with them long after graduation. My job is really busy but every day is a fun day as I feel this is my vocation and as the saying goes, ‘do a job you love and you will never work a day in your life!’

Ashleigh
“My Name is Ashleigh and I have been employed since I was 16, I have worked for some well-known Public and Private businesses over the last 18 years.”

I thought that my previous employer was fantastic to work for with paid uniforms, a brilliant holiday and pension package, free meals provided while on shift and they even paid your professional registration. But…

Then I joined the Clanrye team in January 2021 and I was so surprised at the level of commitment to the person that Clanrye provides. We have flexible and hybrid working system, a generous holiday entitlement, Birthday leave, Staff recognition leave, CEO gifted days and a well-being hour which we can use each week to attend an event/ class or just to take time for ourselves to maintain our mental health.

I can say with my hand on my heart that I have never worked for an organisation that cares so much for its staff and I feel humbled and honoured to be part of The Clanrye Team.

Roisin
“Hi my name is Roisin Walton. I have been working for Clanrye Group for the last 5 years and I can confidently say that it’s the best place I have ever worked”

Clanrye Group does so many amazing things in the community from training and supporting young people and adults, employability support and Community Development activities. Every day is different and brings its challenges and achievements but it’s always so rewarding. I really get a great sense of pride working for Clanrye Group knowing that what we do can make a huge difference to peoples lives. Most importantly the staff matter. Everyone is recognised for their strengths and achievements and whatever our job is we are all part of the Clanrye Group family.
