Clanrye Group are delighted to work alongside the Southern Health and Social Care Trust on a pilot project to support the residents of Habinteg, Glanree and Needham House in Newry.
This project provides a Community Access Worker to develop community-based opportunities for adults with disabilities living in the Southern Trust area. Not only will they identify and create access to real work opportunities and community facilities, but they will help them overcome any obstacles they may face along the way.
Speaking about the project Noreen McComiskey, Specialist Services Manager for Adult Disability for the Trust said,
“This new Initiative is a vital to connecting adults with disabilities to a range of training, leisure and health and social opportunities within the local community as equal citizens. Working with Clanrye Group isn’t new to us, having partnered with them on various occasions throughout the years. We also look forward to working in partnership with a range of services in the Newry and Mourne area to create new and meaningful experiences for the individuals involved.”
