Together Works is a scalable social enterprise programme that gives people with moderate learning disabilities (MLD) the chance to build practical skills, earn therapeutic income and feel fully included in their communities.

Together Works empowers adults with moderate learning disabilities (MLD) by providing structured opportunities to:

Develop practical and vocational skills

Earn therapeutic income through supported activity

Build confidence, foster community connections, and promote social inclusion

Enhance health, wellbeing, and sense of purpose through meaningful engagement.

Activities:

· Fulfilment Tasks: Packaging, assembly and inventory work in a supportive environment

· Skills Training: Communication, time management and light manufacturing skills

· Social Enterprise Involvement: Hands-on experience contributing to real business operations through inclusive social enterprise work (commitment secured from local businesses)

· Mentoring and Coaching: Personal development to include life skills and workplace readiness support

Outcomes:

· Engage up to 30 participants per year (two groups attending two days per week)

· Improve independence and quality of life, measured through participant feedback

· Support at least 20% of participants to transition to supported employment, volunteering or ongoing enterprise involvement

· Increase in independent living skills including travelling independently

· Reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing through sustained participation, meaningful connections and peer support.
